1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a quote request or using the services of AutoCarMovers ("the Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. Quote and Booking
All quotes provided by AutoCarMovers are subject to confirmation and availability. A quote does not constitute a confirmed booking until it has been formally accepted in writing and a booking confirmation has been issued by our team.
3. Vehicle Condition
You warrant that the vehicle presented for transport is in the condition stated at the time of booking. A vehicle condition report will be completed at the time of collection and delivery. Any pre-existing damage must be disclosed and documented prior to transport. AutoCarMovers will not accept liability for damage that is not reported prior to or at the time of collection.
4. Insurance
All vehicles are covered by AutoCarMovers' comprehensive transit insurance from the time of collection to the time of delivery. This insurance covers damage caused during loading, transit, and off-loading. It does not cover personal items left in the vehicle, damage to items fixed to the vehicle roof or tow bars, or damage resulting from pre-existing mechanical faults.
5. Transit Times
Transit time estimates provided are indicative only and may be affected by factors beyond AutoCarMovers' control, including weather conditions, road closures, traffic, and mechanical issues. AutoCarMovers will not be held liable for delays caused by such factors.
6. Vehicle Preparation
The customer is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is prepared for transport as per our guidelines: fuel level not exceeding a quarter tank, all personal items removed, alarms disabled, and keys provided. Failure to prepare the vehicle adequately may affect insurance coverage and transport scheduling.
7. Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to sales@autocarmovers.co.za. Cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the scheduled pickup date the cancellation is made. Please contact our team for specific cancellation terms applicable to your booking.
8. Limitation of Liability
AutoCarMovers' liability is limited to the value of the transit insurance coverage. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages arising from the provision of our services, except where required by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
